The SoCal MEC Research Symposium is a yearly event designed to highlight local resident and medical student contributions to the medical field and to our patients. Interested participants will submit abstracts that describe their work which will be evaluated by our review committee. Selected abstracts will be presented at the Symposium in a variety of ways including both oral and poster presentations.

Our planning committee is comprised of a multidisciplinary team focused on creating an event that encourages academic rigor, collaboration, and innovation in a variety of outlets including: clinical research , education, and quality initiatives.
